UMALUSI Verification
Umalusi verifies your certified copy of the National Senior Certificate and Statement of Results. Once verified, the document proceeds to DIRCO for legalisation: an Apostille for Hague countries, or Authentication and embassy attestation for non-Hague countries.
Used for: Overseas university registration, study abroad, employment and other international use.
What to provide
- Certified copy of the National Senior Certificate
- Certified copy of the learner ID or passport used during the matric exams

DBE Verification
The DBE verifies a certified copy of the school reports. Once verified, the document proceeds to DIRCO for an Apostille or Authentication.
Used for: Overseas university registration where earlier grade reports are required alongside or instead of the NSC, study abroad, employment and other international use.
What to provide
- Each report page stamped and signed by the school principal
- School letter confirming DBE registration and the school registration reference number
- Certified copy of the learner ID or passport
DBE Verification incl DIRCO
DBE verification followed by DIRCO legalisation. Government timings are not guaranteed.

SAQA Verification
SAQA verifies a certified copy of the university degree or diploma. Once verified, the verification letter and certified degree proceed to DIRCO for an Apostille or Authentication.
Used for: Further study or employment abroad.

- Documents specified by SAQA for your evaluation type
- Certified copy of the university degree or diploma
- Certified copy of the ID or passport
- Consent form for SAQA submission
